Job Description
Patent Engineer / San Francisco Office (2019)
Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking Patent Engineers to join the Intellectual Property Department in our San Francisco office. We are seeking individuals with strong academic backgrounds, excellent written and oral communication skills, and an eagerness to confront new challenges and responsibilities. The position will entail working with inventors from cutting edge companies like Google, Qualcomm, Toshiba, Rockwell, Johnson Controls and others as they seek patent protection on their latest innovations. This position is open to all qualified candidates who will graduate in 2018 or 2019 with an undergraduate or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering (such as Biomedical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical), Physics, or a related field. Admission before the USPTO is also preferred - though not required - but must be obtained within twelve months from the date of hire. Interested applicants should submit resume/CV and transcript.
