Selects appropriate radiation exposure factors according to body area, body habitus, and patient condition. Uses factors to obtain diagnostic quality images consistently while minimizing radiation exposure to patient. Performs both CT and X-ray exams.2. Exhibits the ability to analyze his/her examination for completeness and to gather additional patient information or images beyond those called for by standard protocols when necessary and demonstrates the ability to use problem solving skills to reach independent decisions, tailoring exams to the patient's condition and level of cooperation as necessary.3. Documents exam for each case. Thorough exam documentation is produced on a consistent basis and includes pertinent patient history including signs, symptoms, onset and duration.4. Retains new and complex information. Displays comprehension by employing new principles on all aspects of imaging, including record keeping, patient imaging and patient care.5. Demonstrates competency in the operation of Imaging equipment by following safe operating procedures as recommended by original equipment manufacturer, and performs proper care and cleaning of equipment.
