Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Traffic Engineer, we'll count on you to:

  • Perform complex traffic engineering tasks and exercise sound engineering judgment.
  • Prepare PS&E documents, traffic impact analysis reports, and other related documents.
  • Function as technical specialist or project manager within a team-oriented environment.
  • Supervise and train other professionals and technicians as needed.
  • Contribute to technical growth of the team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years traffic engineering experience including design.
  • PE license required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • A commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in designing traffic signals or ITS
  • Hands-on experience with traffic analysis software
  • Experience leading tasks and training junior staff
  • Interest in marketing
  • Engagement in professional organizations
