IMEG is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Senior Meical Equipment Planner in our Dallas, TX office.As a Senior Meical Equipment Planner, you will be responsible for providing medical equipment planning support for assigned projects. Assists with inventories, interpret medical equipment needs from clients, conduct user group meetings, provide analysis and recommendations to clients, takes the lead/consulting role with clients, and supporting the procurement management process as necessary.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned projects as the lead planner based on scope/contract.
  • Manage assigned projects within budget and on schedule.
  • Problem solve client issues.
  • Assist with inventories and assessment of existing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
  • Run reports from the Attainia database in preparation of user group meeting.
  • Research equipment specifications as necessary.
  • Update equipment list based on user input.
  • Assist in assembling ASE cut sheet book.
  • Review all project documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to travel 35-50% of time including overnight stays.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects.
  • Provide and maintain professional customer interface and client/vendor relations.
  • Performs all tasks within his/her capabilities to help meet the overall project and company's goals.
  • Recognizes and understands that each contract is different, and responsibilities vary.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Skills:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess strong organization and multitasking skills.
  • Computer proficiency required including spreadsheets and database.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Must be detailed oriented and work well with others.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience within Medical Equipment Planning industry or equivalent field.
  • Undergraduate Degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of hospital/clinic department function preferred.
  • Basic construction terminology preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and lift objects up to 25 pounds. Occasionally required to drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach with hands or arms, and grasp or pull.
  • Will have limited exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noises.
