Available Shifts:

  • Shift 1: Sunday - Tuesday 10pm - 8am; Wednesday 6am-4pm. Days off: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
  • Shift 2: Thursday - Sunday 10am-8pm; Days off Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
  • Shift 3: Friday - Sunday 4pm-2am; Monday 10am-8pm. Days off Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

In this important role, you'll provide administrative support to the MacLaren Staffing, Dispatch, and Intake Office. You'll develop scheduling templates, coordinate daily schedules for all MacLaren staff, and serve as the central hub for campus operations, including confirming OYA warrants in the Law Enforcement Data System/National Crime Information Center (LEDs/NCIC) databases. Additionally, you'll support the intake process for new commits and parole violators.

  • Starting Salary Expectations New to State Government: $38,616 yearly to $43,428 yearly; based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity (should you have significant years of experience performing this work, starting salary may be higher).

What We Are Looking For:

  • Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; OR

  • An associate degree in general office occupations and one year of experience with records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; OR

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special Qualification:

  • Must be able to be LEDS certified once hired, or currently hold a LEDS certification.

Required skills:

  • Skills on prioritizing workload.
  • Skill in assessing circumstances to make effective decisions immediately as to the most appropriate course of action.
  • Skill in working with diverse populations.
  • Skill in using a computer to process reports typical to the job.
  • Skill in emotional self-control and good judgement.
