The Lead Content Manager contributes to the brand and advertising campaign development, including planning, creating, and managing copywriting content to strategically achieve organizational objectives and deliver a positive user experience across various touchpoints, channels, and platforms for both internal cross-functional stakeholders and external partner brands.

Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:
Job duties:
  • Write compelling and persuasive campaign copy, including headlines, taglines, body copy, and scripts and refine copy based on feedback from stakeholders, clients, and team members
  • Define and maintain the brand voice and tone across all content, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand representation
  • Conduct and interpret research on the product or service, target audience, market trends, and competitors to gain insights that will inform content decisions and messaging strategies
  • Partner with internal Content Managers, cross-functional teams and external partners to develop, implement, and continuously evolve content strategies and messaging that reinforce business objectives and resonate effectively with target audiences across Paid, Owned and Earned channels
  • Provide guidelines for all long- and short-form written content, from advertising and promotional messaging to product and online copy, social media content, email communications, and presentations
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure that content enhances the overall user experience and aligns with the design and functionality of digital platforms
  • Integrate content strategies with tech solutions, such as CMS and marketing automation tools, to optimize content creation and distribution
  • Develop and implement content governance frameworks to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across all content produced
  • Manage the content calendar, ensuring a consistent and strategic flow of content
  • Leverage data and analytics to optimize creative copy & content for SEO and measure the performance of content using relevant KPIs to make insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, content marketing best practices, emerging technologies and changes in the market or user behavior to continually adapt and refine content strategies to remain relevant

Essential skills:

  • Minimum 6 years' experience in copywriting, content marketing or brand strategy
  • Strong writing and editing skills with foundational strategic mindset and an eye for detail and creativity
  • Creative thinking and the ability to develop content that tells a compelling story
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective time management and ability to deliver high-quality copy on schedule
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English or related area of study
Location: Hillsboro, OR97124(HYBRID)

Target Compensation in Hillsboro OR:$110,000 to $125,000 annually + annual bonus
