About the Opportunity

DMI is seeking an experienced Business Analyst that will support all technical aspects of a platform implementation and operations and maintenance project.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Participate in all aspects of business analysis.
  • Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges of enterprise systems.
  • Review and edit business requirements, specifications, processes, and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
  • Take initiative to suggest new standards, implement new strategies, and undertake special projects.
  • Prepare project documentation including meeting minutes, business process documents, quick reference sheets, and other process workflow diagrams as required.
  • Investigate and resolve operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel.
  • Solve challenging business and technical analytical problems, detail oriented.
  • Develop efficient and effective quantitative methods and guidelines to continuously improve quality processes and practices across multiple projects.
Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

  • BS in Business, Management Information Systems (MIS), Informatics or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 8-10 years Requirements gathering and facilitation experience

Required Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a BA role.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive requirements.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, debugging, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure a quick turnaround on fixes.
  • Experience working in an Agile development process: Scrum, Kanban
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate exceptional written and oral communications skills.
  • Self-starter and highly motivated where assignments are often self-initiated.
  • Experience using MS Office tools: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
