How You'll Perform the Role

The Tool Room Machinist will perform mechanical tasks on injection molds and components. Including but not limited to dis-assembly/assembly, mold cleaning, polishing, cavitation recovery and mold component measurement, in press changeovers, and performing preventative maintenance on the tool base.

Requirements:

  • Experience with ProtoTrak Equipped Machines
  • Knowledge of Manual Mill and Lathe work
  • Be able to Set up Tools on CNC Lathes and Mill
  • Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to read blueprints
  • Understand Speeds and Feeds conversion
  • Must be able to create tool path programs
  • Must have Master Cam experience
  • Must have tool maker experience

What We Need From You

  • High School diploma or equivalent, with special training in the tooling area
  • Manufacturing knowledge in molding industry
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, be familiar with various precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, depth and height gages
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
  • Work overtime as required
  • Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management
