Caregiver Shift Type: Part-Time & Full Time Available!Shift: To discuss during interviewWage: $17.51-$22.85/hr DOELocation: Avamere at Hillsboro - 2000 SE 30th Ave Hillsboro, OR 97123

Perfect Attendance Bonus Eligible! This means each pay period that you achieve perfect attendance, full time employees will receive a bonus of $100, and part-time employees will receive $75! Details of this bonus program will be discussed upon hire.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide support for each resident with routine daily health services.

Our residents' lives are enhanced when they choose Avamere at Hillsboro. They hand their worries over to our helpful, caring staff. We have many services to assist in their well-being including personalized care, fitness classes, housekeeping, transportation, engaging activities, and more. We keep our resident's mind and body active during many engaging activities, including annual art shows, cooking and baking activities, the gardening club, and more. They can fill their day with other amenities tailored just for them, including visiting a family member or running errands with our in-house transportation, enjoying a meal restaurant-style in our dining area, or getting a new do in our on-site beauty salon.

Responsibilities
  • Care for residents and assist in updating each resident's service plan
  • Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Assist with the Life Enrichment Program and encourage residents to participate in activities
  • Assist in providing a safe environment for residents
  • Document and communicate resident changes and complete all reports in a timely manner
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident care in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High-School diploma or equivalent
  • Must have or obtain (within 30-days of employment) First Aid & CPR Certification
  • Must have or obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment
  • Knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with elders
