Summary:
  • Take your career journey to the next level with McKesson-Compile as an Associate Data Analyst, in a role designed for a proactive individual with >1 years' experience with healthcare data. Your primary mission will be to skillfully manage and update automation tasks and report pipeline workflows using Python and SQL, showcasing your expertise with tools like Pandas and PySpark. Key Responsibilities:

  • >2 years performing data manipulation tasks (e.g., extract, transform) and movement (e.g., load) using Python and/or SQL within a workflow or structured production pipeline
  • Familiarity with data manipulation/engineering packages and software:
    • e.g., Pandas, PySpark, Data Bricks
  • Must be comfortable presenting in front of both technical and non-technical stakeholders (clients/internal team)
    • The expectation for this role in terms of client service is set at Mid-JR level (room to grow and learn),
  • Must be capable of exercising patience and respect when assisting non-tech stakeholders (especially clients) identify the right data that best suits their business needs
  • Must be able to independently "multi-task" e.g., manage their own assigned responsibilities across multiple assignments
  • > 1 year exp. with US healthcare claims (medical, pharm) AND familiarity with at least one other type of healthcare research and/or data type including:
    • EHR
    • HEOR
    • Affiliations
    • Payer landscape data
    • Public health statistics / survey statistics

Soft Skills

  • Collaborative and extroverted
  • Eager to build and grow and innovate
  • Capable of communicating technical details to non-tech stakeholders
  • Understanding of business processes and client service

Education

  • BA/BS/BE/BTech/AMIE or above
  • Previous data engineering/analyst, software development experience in the healthcare industry (>1 year) OR degree in computer science, biostatistics, health informatics/bioinformatics, statistics, data science, data engineering, or other equivalent field of study

Office/Travel Requirements

  • The position is fully remote
  • Must have the ability to travel. Domestic overnight and air travel is required, occasional travel to India, and domestic may be needed (<10%)

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$70,900 - $118,100
