Our next class schedule is June, July and September 2024: This is the moment you have been waiting for - free training to become a Nursing Assistant! Upon completion of the class, you would sit for the test to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. Once you pass the test, you will have a job waiting for you with the Prestige Care Family starting at $20.22 - $25.61/hr.+!: Enrolling for the following Nursing Assistant Training class:: Upcoming Class Schedule: Start June 4th, 2024: Weekday - 6 week Program: Orientation: June 4th, 2024 - 1:00pm-3:00pm 3 weeks: Classes/Labs at Prestige - Hood River Care Center: Monday-Thursday 9:00am-6:00pm: 3 Weeks: Clinicals at Prestige - Hood River Care Center: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm: Graduation: July 23rd, 2024 Start July 23rd, 2024: Weekday - 6 week Program: Orientation: July 23rd, 2024 - 1:00pm-3:00pm 3 weeks: Classes/Labs at Prestige - Hood River Care Center: Monday-Thursday 9:00am-6:00pm: 3 Weeks: Clinicals at Prestige - Hood River Care Center: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm: Graduation: September 12th, 2024 Start September 19th, 2024: Weekday - 6 week Program: Orientation: September 19th, 2024 - 1:00pm-3:00pm 3 weeks: Classes/Labs at Prestige - Hood River Care Center: Monday-Thursday 9:00am-6:00pm: 3 Weeks: Clinicals at Prestige - Hood River Care Center: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm: Graduation: November 7th, 2024: Please apply online and go through the application and interview process to attend the orientation and class, as spaces are limited.: The NA Training classes, labs and clinicals are not paid training. Once you graduate and start working shifts at the selected care center as a NA is when you will start getting paid. They must possess patience, empathy and unwavering compassion for people. Practice and "hands-on" supervised training. After completion of the Nursing Assistant Class, you will be eligible for employment consideration to be hired as a Nursing Assistant, you must be able to provide legal documentation establishing your identity and eligibility to be legally employed in the United States, employment references, and be at least 18 years of age.: The primary responsibility of a student that is selected for the NA Class is to acquire the knowledge, skills and certification as a Nursing Assistant (NA) by participation in the facility's planned educational program. This program consists of classroom and clinical instructions. Upon completion of the NA program a student is prepared to take the state examination in order to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.: * Able to attend all class and clinical sessions * Be willing to undergo a criminal background. * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
