Thoroughly evaluates candidates to check qualifications against job and hospital privileging requirements. Conducts primary source verification; reviews provider attestation including malpractice claims and consults with Medical Staff if necessary; conducts internet query and develops candidate profile to share with the hiring leader.Conducts pre-screen interviews for all qualified candidates. Determines candidates for fit, and effectively promotes the Salem Health brand, organizational culture, and the community to effectively motivate interest in the position. Coordinates on-site interviews.Determines offer detail based on compensation requirements and incentives including wage, start bonus, relocation assistance, education assistance to create letter of intent, and extends offers to prospective candidates. Documentation & Communication:Maintains consistent and timely correspondence with all candidates and hiring leaders.Dispositions candidates accordingly and accurately document and track recruitment activities in the ATS.Monitors practices to ensure customer departments comply with applicable Federal, State and local laws, rules and regulations that pertain to HR management. Maintains legally defensible documentation for the selection process for job openings. Recruitment Strategy & Consultation:Partners with hiring managers to review job requisitions, and facilitates the recruitment intake process; advises and counsels on issues related to requisition management, posting process, candidate sourcing & talent selection.Partners with hiring managers, stakeholders and other experts to develop and implement rapid, innovative, proactive and effective recruiting strategies and goals to deliver high quality candidates.Utilize sourcing sites to source potential candidates in all recruitment processes.Partner with employee brand manager and marketing to create recruitment campaigns for specific open positions, which may include social media, flyers, emails, career fair material, etc.Establishes trust and confidence by maintaining a high level of credibility, integrity, and skilled communications with managers, peers and candidates. Salem Health experience preferred.Strong understanding of multi-disciplinary settings within a hospital-system preferred. Working knowledge of clinic operations including inpatient and outpatient settings preferred. Experience in provider recruitment desirable. Experience with executive level recruitment a plus.
